How to find a job using LinkedIn?
If you’re looking for high-quality career opportunities, LinkedIn, with its more than 55 million registered businesses, is a great place to start.
Follow this guideline and create a great LinkedIn profile to help you succeed:
- Upload a clear, professional, and friendly-looking profile picture
This is one of the first things employers will see before they click on your profile, so make sure the photo gives the right impression. It should only show you and it must be of high quality. You can also upload a background image to make your profile stand out even more.
- Write a great headline
Like your profile picture, the headline is something people will see before they click on your profile, so make sure it represents you well.
Don’t mention “actively looking for a job” – that doesn’t tell recruiters what you do or why they should consider you at all. Instead, put your skills in the headtitle and include at least one keyword/phrase for the type of job you want.
- Fill out skills
Make sure you fill out at least five skill slots. This is an important part of using LinkedIn to find a job because skills will help you be more visible.

- Change your privacy settings
